I listen to this every once in a while and EVERY time, it send shivers down my spine. The minor chords, the muffled banjo, the remarkable melancholy feel of this are like nothing else I've ever heard.

First heard this in S2 E3 of Breaking Bad. Had to pause the DVD player and go find this great cover. Beautiful, beautiful, evocative song. I encourage everyone to look into the incredible music and remarkably sad life of Townes van Zandt. Troubled genius who died - or slowly killed himself - far too soon.
