We were doing this when Manu was in diapers, I'm talking back when Dr. J was still playing. I learned it from a classmate in jr high back in 77'. I find it humorous, and yes we did the step back jumper but we also used to do it truly a step backward as well, not just to the side. This should be called the Tafoya unless he learned it from someone else.

@Malikot911 The spin move, the drop step, there are a lot of others. Execution is the key. It looks easy especially the drop step but how many NBA centers or power forwards do it well or at all. Big men in HS are so used to just going over people then on to college still good, then the pros if they make it but NO foot work. If they played against Men like Kareem or any Old school Big man they'd be lost. How can a player 6'10+ not have a hook shot? or any low post move. The Dream, Moses had it
