This is the wood gas generator I built from scrap, My welder sucks so don't laugh I wish I had a better one like Ben's at VictoryGasWorks!! Go watch his vids!! Anyway it works!!

so is the point of lighting the gas at first to allow the engine to suck the flame in?then gas follows?please clarify
