This Fall 2010 conference in North Carolina brought in bee researchers from around the country to talk to small beekeepers. The Institute plans to expand its role in helping beekeepers support researchers. Education is also an important focus: there is a crisis in bee colonies. Even if we don't have our own bee colony, each of us can play an important role in making healthier environments for honeybees!
