Highlights of the 2007 Beaver baseball season. The Beavs went undefeated through the College World Series, posting a 5-0 record. They defeated North Carolina by sweeping the best-of-three championship series. Oregon State became the fifth team to win consecutive to win back-to-back College World Series titles. Freshman pitcher Jorge Reyes was named the CWS Most Outstanding Player.

seems to be quite a few similarities between the 06-07 OSU teams and the 2010-11 South Carolina teams with not only results but how they played.

I will never forget the defensive play that threw out the runner at home plate. It was one of the prettiest defensive plays that I have ever seen. Even early in the game I knew that OSU was going to win. You could see the confidence, swagger and enjoyment in each one of the OSU players.
