  • Thank you for this video ! Im trying to talk my mom into getting away from the vacuums you find at walmart. RICCAR is made right in my home town ! (seems in this comparison RICCAR was on top ?)

  • @TylerTron21 Yeah, the Riccar was quite impressive. When I filmed this last year, the Oreck bristles were a bit worn down, and the Riccar was bit newer with stiffer bristles.

  • The Riccar has balls. Lets watch as Orecks sales falls.

  • When I was a little kid I thought Oreck was the best vacuum you could buy. So when I was 8 my mom bought one off of QVC ( today's special value). A week later we got it, put it together, and used it. I was sooooooooo dissappointed by its preformance. Its not even funny how bad this is. A straight suction stick vac could literally clean better. I liked the cannister though.

  • @professorkiwi is the oreck a 2 speed

  • @evacguy95 Oreck and Riccar are the only companies left still making vacuums in America so they're both winners.

  • @evacguy95 Oreck's suck I had one, was better then a off the shelf bissle at target but at the same time not $400 performance. I have a Riccar Radiance and I am more then pleased with it. With the lighter series of vacuums the Riccar is not only better built but has more power as well, you get only 3.5 - 4 amps on the oreck and a tiny fan with the Riccar the fan is alot larger and a hefty 5.5 amp motor

  • @OrecksRule223 The Riccar also out cleans the Oreck XL2 by almost 40 Percent. Independent lab test proven too. And actually you can run a riccar right on to a bare floor. On the RSL4 and RSL5 you have two speeds and a squeegee just like a oreck. Also does your oreck have a lifetime guarantee on the belt? Didn't think so? I'm a Riccar dealer and we have orecks at the shop. and only the RSL5 has a metal brushroll which is safe for floors. I have one...and hardwoods.

  • Wow - the riccar kicked it! I have an OLD Riccar sewing machine that is awesome. I wish all could last like this...it is over 45 years old.

  • The Thing I Think With Riccar is They Have Metal BrushBars. Which isnt Good to Fo BareFloor and They Have No Canister to Do Barefloor. Plus The Noise Compared To My Pilot is Loud as Crap. And You get 10 free Tune Ups and a 10 Year warrenty. So You Pay 599.99 and Get Just a vacuum for carpet. When You can get a Platinum for the same price and get a barefloor and above floor cleaner. :) Thats My Opinion. Do You agree??

  • Heres What I think Bout Oreck And Riccar Orecks New Brushroll on The Platinum Is Great! Just like The Riccars. The Brushroll is Wooden on the Oreck so U can do Barefloor. The Riccar RSL5 You cant. Plus The Oreck Has a Ten Year Warrenty and The Riccar has what? A Year or Two. Maybe 5. On top of that The Riccar is Just as expensive as the Oreck But Nothing To do Your Barefloors or Your Couches Chairs. Oreck Gives You Free Gifts and You get What You pay For.

  • Riccars are the best, I have a Riccar Radiance, that thing is a powerhouse, I haven't yet checked out the Supralite but have heard many good things about it, I have a Oreck and honestly it isn't worth a dime. It's really loud, just cheap falling apart piece of crap and it's only a 2003 :/ I've had it refurbished that helped a little
