A lap around Donington Race Track at the Ron Haslam Race School.
An instructor is riding the camera bike, a Honda CBR1000.
The bike is using our mid-range camera and MP4 recorder.

  • for all those criticising the camera bikes lack of speed- its usually advantageous as an instructor to stay within view of the pupils! retards...

  • liking the lines, any numptie can twist the throttle, but follow them through a corner on track and watch them struggle, i aim for smooth lines for the first session or 2, then start running fast ones (well fast for me lol)

  • alpa 2002 and v6auh you are both absolute tossers. Keep yuour pathetic comments to yourself unless you have something usefult to say.

  • i did this race school on a 125 honda twice then mick boddice school once no i am racing a aprilia rs 125 do the school it is fun

  • Having never been on a track before and looking into doing one, the last thing I want to see is people posting such drivel as "are you on stablizers? seriously need to lean more, trust your tyres! (unless there continental)"!!!!

Currently ride an RSV-R and challenge anyone to ride in the lakes with me cause I know em so well, but the track must be so different and the information I`d learn will be invaluable and I would like to feel more confident .

    bet those critisising aint racing!

  • exup35, yeah looks like something dropped its guts big time, at least it was off the racing line where it starts half way through craner curves, would have been a bit of a battle of nerves to go through that lot on the apex of the old hairpin. as for the bikes i think they are still using CBR600RR's and CBR1000RR Fireblades, might be wrong though

  • yeah exactly bicster . don't listen to the hype with people telling you that you should be scraping your elbows on the floor and you will end up going back for more . . I think all that cement dust down by the old hairpin up through Schwantz would have put me off a bit anyway.

what bikes they using there now R6's?

  • Whoever posted the video, good on ya, the track is a place to learn, its not a race, i saw in this clip someone who listened to the instructors, how can i tell? well he or she is using the whole of the track and is showing respect for other bikers on the track, the people that have slagged this clip off have obviousley never had the balls to do a trackday, oh and before i get any comeback ive done 17 trackdays without an off

  • You only hit 6,000 rpm on the main straight - is it a quiet Sunday ride?

  • are you on stablizers? seriously need to lean more, trust your tyres! (unless there continental)
