  • @kpitt1204 welcome to real life...

    like Hairspray... jeeze

  • @sudaev does liberal mean being a person? or is it unusual enough that you have to label it?

  • I am confused, and I mean no harm, but where are the other people that I saw in the other clips? Is this like HAIRSPRAY where the show had Negro Day? Seriously, I am not cracking any jokes. I am just curious. I know it was a different time and era. For the record, I am enjoying the clips no matter who is dancing. It is great to see, especially someone like me who was is curious and into the music and dancing during this time period.

  • @sudaev It sounds like he has upset you.

  • @subscooby - Yeah, I knew it - you're in the UK. That figures. You've just got to show how liberal you are, lol.

All of these YouTube clips have someone from the UK letting everyone know that they think blacks are "cool" as compared to whites. We got it already - you're liberal. Got it, thanks.

  • This originally was known as Nine Teen Time (Channel 9) and was hosted by Stan Scott.

  • @subscooby Yes you are right, but give white kids credit, at least rythym.

  • "We're gonna blow your mind, literally!" That would be messy. :)

  • Eh, there's nothing special about these kid's dancing, it's pretty stiff, jitterbuggers of the 40s would knock this out of the park.

  • @mdmphd

Who the hell cared back then if it was blacked out in Baltimore! None the less Dick Clark prevailed and persuaded the sponsors to ride it out, The Philadelphia Inquirer was the biggest sponsor for the show in Philadelphia, you need to do some research about Bandstand's Philly years!
