Jason Kenny got his ass handed to him. Romeo Dallaire is one of our greatest Canadians who would know more about human rights after his experiences than any Neo-Con Haper cronie ever would! As much as we need to protect our country from terrorists etc, we still must abide by our extradition treaties when we know full well how the rights of our fellow Canadians are being violated by the Americans in Guantanimo Bay.

@TicinoParadise Look at former Yugoslavia and Bosnia - in maybe 10-15 years that part of the world will flame up once again. Look at Bosnia - now it is the Bosnian Serbs that say that one their own ethno-state but the Muslims and the Croats refuse them have it - the idea of the Daytona Agreement was "Multiculturalism" - so all the ethnic groups remains and they all live separately - and learn to hate each other. What are we going to do then? Take side of one group?

The General wants nations...ie THE UN, to step in and stop explosive situations regardless of the country, and the color of one's skin. Not go to war to protect first world interest's. @ROBLOXIANgordonrox24 Professor Michael Scheuer was head of the CIA unit that looked for Osama Bin Laden for ten years. He frequently says that if we are going to win the "war on terror" we need to begin kill civilians and and in some cases put up a "white elite" like in SA, But the most effective way to stop terrorism and create political and social stability according to him is to stay out of the third world! No one has to be killed. Just leave people alone he says.

We should not be making decisions for other countries, but we should be stopping them from slaughtering themselves. We can stop them from slaughtering each other, then allow them to decide what to do, without decimating a whole group of people.

Next time maybe 2 million will die - maybe western involvments only prelong the suffering and make the conflict even worse?

@kkamink Romeo Dallaire is a neo-conservative. He wants pretty much that (the) west should be involved in all third world conflicts. But what he do not realize that it is not up to the west to "save" the third world from themselves. In fact, the west did the right thing when it came to Rwanda. Keep away from that conflict. My view is also that NATO would not be involved in the Yugoslavian conflict. There is never a reason do fight other peoples wars.
