  • I was never a Sally Star fan, but watched Gene and Chief Halftownevery every chance I could. Why can't I find full episodes online?

  • thank you sooo much for posting this!! I watched Gene London all the time (and Sally Starr and Chief Halftown....) after all these years I remembered the song Lol! I loved this show, especially watching him draw, it was magical to me :-)

  • Quigley Mansion!

  • What a pleasure to see and HEAR you once again! So glad to hear you are on U-Tube so we can keep in touch! I use to do commercials in the 60's when I was a sweet-faced blue-eyed child for Philadelphia stations and was on your show and Sally Starr's too! I also did commercials for Kiddie City (the forerunner of Toys R Us)...Gene, you look marvelous! God Bless YOu!

  • Gene is a true performance artist and he really connected well with kids.

  • Thanks for posting this!! Yes, these times WERE so MUCH better...I'd almost do anything to go back for one full day.....I remember my mom or dad taking me to be on his show and remember how they used some fake glass to knock out Gene! After the scene, Gene told us we could EAT the "glass"...it was really just hard candy!

How old is Gene and where he is living?

    Thanks again!

    Mike

  • My Brother & I used to watch this show SO LONG AGO! Somehow I WON tickets to be ON the show (I had to draw a picture of something); my Mom took us on a bus & we went ... I remember farm animals, etc., in the middle of Philadelphia somewhere! Thx for sharing ... thx for the memories!!
