Swype is a new way to input text on touch screens - by swiping your finger instead of typing on a virtual keyboard. The founders demoed it at TechCrunch50 on Sept. 9, 2008 in San Francisco and received very positive feedback from the judges.
The video shows the judges trying it for the first time ever.
The founders claim you could enter text at 50 words per minute.

talk about bein a newb... i have never tried swype but i want to.... i would prob write much faster than that... ;P

While you judges keep testing it. There is the SlideIT keyboard available for the whole public to test it.
