I remember the first time seeing this... Its was scary, they should bring back the old dark atmosphere, Blizzard already have 2 adventure games, adding something dark is never bad.

And it's not really so much about the items, its the principle of the thing. 50 gold becomes pocket change later on, but I still refused to pay it by saving the game first.

D1 was really an awesome game, though i really enjoyed playing D2 as well. And D3 will most likely end up really enjoyable as well.

Scary is a subjective term. If you mean demonic or dark, D1 was a very dark game. But D2 was more violent. /Shrug. Also, not sure if you guys notice but D1 was in a single town. . . And D2 is a journey east. How harrowing can a journey be?

d2 wasnt indeed scary d1 owns d2 and d3 when it comes to being scary d3 was not scary anymore cuz of its very cool graphics d1 has the most scary cinematics
