This Video plays true: My deceased Uncle was in that War & had mentioned such a thing! The Germans crossed over the river to share a meal of Beans & then retreated to the other side when XMAS Day was over.

minesweep2k you do realise this song is about world war 1 and at the christmas of 1914 all war stopped in that part of the trenchline i think in somme and the british and german soldiers had peace for a day then went back to war after having a good time together all because of orders because it was an unofficial ceasefire they weren't allowed to have peace for that day but they did
