Well, I've never made a film of any sort before this, and we only really had a couple of hours to pull it together, but I'm happy with the results. Filmed by Ian Grindall (a pretty fabulous photographer in Toronto).

The story: My partner, who (for the sake of this adventure) goes by Agent North, while in class, got a singing telegram by a mutual friend of ours about how there'd been a terrible plight and something must be done that night! He got this video delivered as well: My capture by the diabolical mo bot, who pulls the classic stunt of tying me to the tracks. If he could find the location (right behind a friends' house, so fairly easy) he would come across a large wheat-pasted graffiti with the next clue of my whereabouts. I ended up sending him on a long and elaborate adventure that included a lot of his good friends, some of which traveled from different countries and provinces to take part, all playing characters and leading him to my secret hideout, where I was safe and sound with booze and a bunch of wonderful people. Happy birthday North! xox

  • This is well done and the lady is beautiful. But why is she called the Destroyer? With a name like that she should be dressed in spandex and a cape. A name like Miss Snoopy Pants or Fancy Drew might be more appro for her.

  • Ah, because that is my name, "neko the destroyer". And there is a lot more to this story that is not in youtube-able video format.

Glad you liked it though. cheers

  • that's cool! you should do more vids.

  • Yackety sax at the end. Either Yakety Sax is older than I thought or this silent is newer than it appears to be.

  • nice damsel, but you could have done more close ups of the face

  • What was in the sack that he threw in the cart? why was there a short clip of a steam train in the country?

  • Henceforth Ms. Destroyer should abide in yon kitchen.

  • Excellent!

Nice amateur shortie, funny at parts where it intended to, and overall well done, congrats :)

  • very good!

  • cooool!
