This all (except his Jewishness) received HUGE coverage in the media (search google news archive). PURELY COINCIDENTALLY !!! at the exact same time, the multi-award winning TV series 'Holocaust' was being filmed and then 1st broadcast. This too received huge publicity. Prior to the TV series, "the Holocaust" wasn't known by the term "the Holocaust", if known of at all to the average Joe. But the media circus of Illinois "Nazis" and TV drama, planted "the Holocaust" deep into America's psyche.
