  • they forget to say they need to be black !

white girls were not allowed !

oprah is a SEXIST and a RACIST !

  • Oprah is absolutely amazing, I love her and admire her for her love gifts to helping girls to obtain a better life. And for her to break ground with a Godly man like Mandella, it just goes without saying, God Bless You Oprah keep up the great work!!! Christine Michelle

  • I went to an excellent school in Kenya....you Americans are so shallow.......this is not the only excellent type school in Africa....this was only blown out because it is Oprah....there are schools like Breaburn Academy etc.....c'mon people...travel

  • Blizzardchick10 in Africa often a family can only afford to send one child to school, almost always this will be boys over girls.

According to culture, women and girls in Africa are second rate to men.

An understanding of Africa would surely revolutionise your views.

  • What about the boys? Even I'm a girl and think that's kinda messed up. Guys need education, too...

  • I don't know what to say. The girls are the likiest in Africa.

  • I've seen the Oprah show like twice, at most. But all I can say about this work, in light of recent allegations of abuse... Oprah just rocks. Good for her to do it, good for her to fly her ass down there and find out what's going on.

And, by the way, Im from Texas, and the cattle industry is riddled with the "good-ol'-boy" mentality.

    Keep on keepin on Oprah!

  • Want smart education?

Then empower kids to learn how to be entrepreneurs early on in life. Schools should teach the subject, after all these kids are either going to work for a company (profit or non profit) or create their own path by owning businesses. Let's really teach them real life lessons. Why do we still have to follow the industrial age style of education while we are in digital, service- oriented age?

  • God! I want to puke!

  • She sure is.
