xvid dont work in camstudio. why? "Error recording AVI file using current compressor. Use default compressor?" also cinepak radius codec plays very choppy and slow.

HELP ME!!! I've installed xvid codec for camstudio but when i press record and click on the window for recording, it says that it couldn't record the .avi file using the current compressor. then it doesnt let me record anything at all!!! PLEAAASE HELP ME!!!

I use camstudio and I record fine when im out of games. But whenever I enter a game, the screen is black. Do you know how to fix this?

are you sure you got the compression and DEcompression for xvid. If you got the compressor only on the download you maynot have that full codec on your machine so it can't see it. Or it could be your settings are not correct.

OR if you have VISTA..... you must run there as an administrator and also run Camstudio as an administrator to capture it.
