Hey. I'm proud to say I didn't just go to Corn Island like everyone else who visits, I did a great big tour of Nicaragua from coast to coast and it is awesome. I got annoyed with some US girls I met who were just heading to corn and not interested in anything else but hitting the beach, but hey that's life. Be Nica and proud. I just got back from Nicaragua today. I was there for 3 weeks. It is so beautiful there, especially on Ometepe. The people are so friendly there too. I want to go back...

ya i am nicaraguan..well born here in the states but ya i've been to nicaragua a few times and its pretty crazy that there are 2 huge volcanoes next to the lakes...did you know that there are also fresh water sharks in some of the lakes? yep only place in the world that has lake fresh water breathing sharks..thats actually kinda scary lol
