taxslayer is a horrible company they fired me after i told them i was homeless and then threw my personal belongings out because i had no way to come and get them. they refused to mail them. the only explanation they had was it's business.

this commercial makes me wish i could work again just so i can pay taxes!! seriously though, this ad is very professionally done and follows some basic advertising do's... it catch's one's eye, is entertaining while telling the story plainly and, is memorable..

Taxslayer wants people to BUY the product!! It makes sense from a marketing standpoint - sell the product & worry about directions to prepare taxes once the program is purchased. This ad does the job.

This ad is perfect. I can't imagine better dialogue, casting & execution of the video. It hits the nail on the head for the market you are likely to be desiring to reach.

Just finished hours and hours and hours with Turbo Tax -- thought it would be easy but wasn't really -- this sounds much better -- will try next year! Great and convincing video.

This commercial works in several different ways: first the protagonist comes off as very authentic, making the ad appeal to real people; secondly there is a very cool vibe to the ad - everyone loves the zamboni. Beyond the coolness of the spot, the product is well highlighted and lures the viewer into wanting to find out more about taxslayer.

I just paid $29.99 for turbotax this year, so next year I'll check this product out first!

Very convincing ad. The perception I have about some of these products is that you still have to know a bit about preparing taxes to use them, but this ad shows that this product can be used easily by almost anyone.
