  • Some oil in the oiler would help a lot. Oil is cheaper than metal.

  • @justsmoky There is oil in it, there was about half an inch at the bottom, look closeley and you will see.

  • @05clenharth 6 dpm I should have set the amanco to.

  • @goldie103103 A friend of mine who is an ex lister engineer has a farbanks z type open crank and its perfect condition the engine is tight as a drum and he has the engine oiler set to 3 drips a minuite on the cylinder!

  • @05clenharth My amanco oiler used to go within 1/2hr as it leaked and driped too much, stop the leak and turned the oil down to about 9 drips per a min, still too much but it took a good 3hrs before a top up.

  • Just been offered 1 of these (well APR 2.5HP) for £800. Nearly the same, little bit smaller than this BPR.

  • @mileybob people think that these things get through an oiler of oil in10 mins!

  • Would I be right in thinking its around 4hp?

  • Wonderful engine!

    5* from Germany.

    Bidone
