@sambo221991 because of electric cars going into mass production in both USA & UK, because thousands of Kiwis spent thousand of dollars creating the dams and infrastructure for decades, because we can use the cash to pay for hospitals and schools, because we own them, because this is our country, because it is smart business!

@sambo221991 So it makes sense of you to sell nearly half of our power companies (and Air New Zealand) that make us money, every year, to then build some new schools and hospitals that cost us money? Those things should happen by using operating capital, not selling what makes the Gov't capital. We can't get them back once gone. Why is this so difficult for people to understand? Completely baffles me and everyone I talk to. What has happened to NZ?

Great to see NZ First offering sensible, workable policies that will benefit NZ rather than just wanting to sell assets and loan more money like the other parties. It is my opinion all sensible Kiwis will party vote NZ First this election to ensure we have a strong opposition to stop Key from selling off what is left of NZ.

@sambo221991 If you were educated about NZ Politics Sambo you would know that when NZ First were in Parliament the introduced policies that put 1000 extra police on the street. Free Drs visits for children. Lowered business taxes, gave pay parity to Primary School Teachers, etc. As fo the repayment scheme - the Govt currently loses billions in loans that are not repaid - so surely it is better to keep graduates in NZ working here and paying taxes in return for dollar for dollar loan payback.
