Actually, we would live where we are, but still be a subculture, with our own tax base, taking care of issues this govt. ignores. I don't want to separate from folks like you, but our politicians need a shot in the pockets

That sounds like a very ambitious proposal. I have no idea how people could secede from the U.S. and remain within its borders. I hope you get a lot of informative responses. I, personally, can offer nothing! LOL

You offer pleanty with your open mind. I'm thinking that my community could become like the amish, who are pretty much not even thought about; there are many other more important issues our society needs to focus on, like homelessness, hunger and disease. I think us becoming a non issue would help that process.

Interesting. I hope for more from the citizens and government of the U.S. True equality. Thus sexual preference becoming a non-issue without undue separation of gays and straights - I would miss many of my friends if they all moved to Pennsylvania! *teasing* CA would probably be the ultimate home of this proposed community.
