Empire Total War Dutch Campaign Gameplay is actually a battle that i fought before the others. I just didn't showed it. Basically it's me crushing a Polish-Lithuanian army with my artillery.

well those dragoons can fire from their horses no matter how deep is their ranks, same when they are on foot. Dragoons can be turn into fast reployable infantry. The are also acceptably good in melee fight when on horse. For all those reason they make good troop to neutralize cannons

yes they are not really expensive, historically Dragon were classify as Infantry. Their role was to ride to the fight then they would get on foot and fight as infantry. They could also be escorting light fast moving cannons to help them into harassment tactic. Dragon and Chasseurs regiments were basically what we would call mechanize infantry, but they would be not do well again cavalry regiments.

Oh when you're talking dropping like flies, this is NOTHING. I've helped in, making a mod for this game, where it takes place in the american civil war. Instead of around 8 casualties per volley, its like 85 casualties, and its 400 man regiments instead of 160.
