Even if I'm dead, the person I threw the ball at is still able to catch it, after the delay it took to the ball to travel the 50 meters, (the ball did not vanish just because I died) just like the planet still catches the light after its 3 billion years travel time.

well judging from your logic, we can assume heaven is very far away since not even Hubble can capture it, therefore it would take Jesus over 12 billion years to reach here (assuming that he is travelling at the speed of light which is known to have the fastest velocity). Soooooo if i was to die believing in Jesus... i wouldn't want to be traveling at the speed of light for over 12 billion years just to go to heaven but that's just me.

I love SPACE but what is the point of being able to see the edge of the Universe and beyond when we are not able to manage the Earth ?. What a waste of money , millions are starving and struggling to live from day to day . Humans need to reprogram their thinking .

You know, I swear, you act like people aren't from Earth and haven't heard the story of Jesus and repentance and the method to achieve the heavenly afterlife. Of course, we've heard it all before. By now, seriously, it's like a song and dance with you guys. For thousands of years, "he's been coming soon" and we're still waiting.
