This is part2 of the Aurora Project. In this video we cover the second flight of the FF-Aurora which on this flight was flown on a 4S lipo pack and 6x5.5 prop. I was happy it met my goal to break 100mph, clocking in at 103.8mph! I did forget to set my ESC to high timeing, so there may be a little more speed in this setup. Stay tuned because we plan to find out! Thanks for watching!

The FF-Aurora is my own design based on the idea of the Top Secret Aurora Spy Plane the US government is rumored to have. It is supposedly the plane that replaced the SR-71. If its really out there it must be one bad bird! My intention was to build a fairly fast RC plane made of simple Foamboard material.

  • bro,I want to do this as my Final Project in E/E engineering..can you send a message to my inbox all the parts list.(im kind of newbie)..its interesting..

  • @raxaxaganaz Please visit our website it lists all the parts you need. The link is in the video notes. If you are a newbie though you may want to build a slower plane to start with. I would suggest the FB-28 also on our site and the plans are free for that plane. Good luck with your project!

  • i think that motor has enough juice to make even your meatzilla fly off the table. you guys are doing a brutal test run on this motor. without a doubt, you've proven it's reliability

  • @wildhover haa haa Ken, funny about Meatzilla Bro! I am pretty impressed with the Monster Jets. They are really good motors at an affordable price.

  • @rcFoamFighters thanks bro..much appreciate it.

  • @trich301 I had a 60A Turnigy Plush ESC in the plane during my test flights.

  • @rcFoamFighters First! I've on the website everyday waiting for these. I have both Monster Jets coming and I'm looking forward to this model. Question what ESC did you use in the video 60a?

  • @ravendarkcloud Thanks for your comment and watching! The plans are now finshed and available on the website.

  • @startazz Thanks for the comment Ian. I think your PM got buried in my email, I'll have to find it and get back to you on the motor. Hope all is good for you in the UK Brother!

  • @uggymoo The Bow-Tie prop slot does seem a little more efficient and a little quieter. Thanks for the comment and watching!

  • @WascallyWabbitHunter Plans are now available on the Website. Thank you very much for watching and your interest in the new FF-Aurora!
