Farm Sanctuary Piglets at Play

Sprinkles came to us as a nervous, skinny little piglet who wouldnt eat. Rescued from a factory farm that had separated him from his mother, docked his tail and castrated him without anesthesia, Sprinkles was traumatized and scared of the world. Tim was the runt of his litter. Found malnourished and sickly, he had a badly-injured foot and a large hernia and faced premature death. Abandoned by those who were supposed to care for him, Tim was inconsolable when he first arrived at our New York Shelter. Alone, these little pigs were timid, frightened and sad. And though they warmed up to and sought solace from their caregivers, they still longed for the comfort that only another member of their species could provide. Lucky for them, we had the exact medicine they needed to pull through and wasted no time introducing the two. Bonded within moments of meeting, Sprinkles and Tim received the greatest gifts any animal could ask for — permanent refuge and a friendship that will last a lifetime. Since the happy day they met, the two have been unstoppable, as you can see from their wild romp in this sweet video. Confident and deliriously happy, Sprinkles and Tim are now grown, but remain the best of friends.

I watch this over and over again. I pray that God will do something to stop what's happening to pigs in Factory farms. These 2 are the fortunate ones. Sometimes I wish the pigs would all die in their sleep, so they wouldn't have to go through what monsters are doing to them. You've given these pigs a piece of heaven on earth. God bless you.

Awe this is so sweet. This is how pigs should live. We should not eat pigs. How can a civilized society allow barbaric tiny cages for them to live in forever while on earth. I just recently found out about factory farming and it breaks my heart. These animals cannot hurt us, and the workers beat them unmercifully every day. This vid makes me smile, and they are so blessed to have the enviorment you have blessed them with.

I really appreciate the way you are treating animal. I don't believe in god, but if there is a god, god bless you.

we human need to stop this horrible hell created by human being. we are not devil, treating animal like that cause enormous amount of suffering and in the end, it's bad for us human, who eat the meat fed with antibiotics and hormones. but the food industry corporation is very strong. they don't give a fuck on what people say or how much of suffering they offer to those animal.
