Dissidia Duodecim Prologue - Cloud Strife Gameplay

After crawling my way through Arcade Hard Mode, many ragefits and ragequits later, Cloud pops up on the roster list. Still the hard hitting omnislashing beast that he is, there aren't too many changes that i noticed. The major one to point out is Meteorain is usable in the air now.

He has LOADS of changes.

@Uktrayf They all probably have loads of changes. He just felt extremely similar to when I played Cloud's story mode in the first game. Then again I should probably stop making claims without having prior knowledge in the first place.

Double cut and Meteorein can now be performed in the air. Blade beam has farther reach. Aerial Fang now executes MUCH faster, but doesn't initiate a chase. Sonic Break now has a small vacuum on the initial strike. Rising Fang seems the same. Omnislash Version 5 now executes much faster. Slashing blow is slightly faster, and you stumble less if you miss. Climhazzard hits enemies higher up in the air, and knocks them down farther. These are all the changes I've noticed with Cloud.

@faiyoake no its weird to unlock him, you have to encounter tifa, thats it :/ i played through on warrior of light and sephiroth and won on hard and i didnt get cloud

@chewface You have to master Sonic Blade, I believe that's what the skill is called. Have it set, and you'll have the option of checking 'Finishing Touch' right beneath it. Then, when you use Sonic Blade, hit Square when using the attack, and you'll perform Finishing Touch.

I can't figure out how to perform "Finishing Touch". I'm level 100 Cloud, and I don't see that move on the list. Does it chain from a certain move? Which one?

Can you change your characters costumes ? I like the original soldier geostigma costume in the first dissida for cloud.

Climhazzard has actully been nerfed.

You used to be able to chain another attack in, but they changed it in a way where you cant cancell out the animation fast enough to do it.

cloud pops up after clearing arcade on hard once, right?

Cloud has been buffed up big time in duodecim. he's faster now and his range has been increased
