why did the station shut down at 5:15 in the afternoon.Thats early.Was it because of a directional broadcast power thing?

Some of these AM stations played classic and top 40 rock just like the ficticious WKRP in Cincinnati.Now all you hear on AM is sports talk or right wing conservative talk.
