I had the opportunity to see them live in Europe and 17 times here in Brazil. The show was as good as the record because the recording was live. The voices were magnificent and Jackie' unforgetable.

I am envious of you Alce. By coincidence, I bought my first recordings of Ray Connif in Brazil in the early 1970s, he was very popular there at the time as I expect he still is.

There was nothing like listening to these singers singing Mame at the Albert Hall in London and at the Royal Pavillion in Brighton. I was present at this concert in both places. Jackie Allen's voice as the top soprano singing it was unforgetable. The best female vocalist ever together with Loulie Jean Norman.

They have always been very famous here. The problem is that good music has been substituted by noise, good singers by play back and other wonders of technology.
