The third overall release on Fragments Records was Carlos Fox's 'In The Corner', it was one of the biggest progressive house releases this year with remixes from: Cid Inc, Relaunch and Loco-Volver.

The Cid Inc remix even found its way into the Beatport charts and received support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Fragments is now all the way up to their seventh release and what better time to showcase some new remixes of 'In The Corner' from: Jarius Miller, D-Ferdez and also a new version from Carlos himself.

Paraguayan producer D Ferdez has been knocking out stellar productions on the Perikles label for the last year and a half now, here he makes his debut on Fragments and provides the first remix of 'In The Corner'. D Ferdez has delivered a tough dance floor groove with a great shuffling rhythm to it. The drums add even more energy with their tribal infused sound and dynamic character. The melodic elements from the original are used sparsely and in a very hypnotic matter as not to lose focus on the killer groove. Top dance floor remix from D Ferdez.

Jarius has provided two interpretations here with the first being a killer breaks rework. Jarius' tough beats and razor sharp percussive elements set a serious tone early. The breakbeats have explosive energy and once the melodic elements begin to make their way into the piece it really takes off. Sections of perfectly interwoven melodies and swirling atmospheres take center stage and build the track to an epic height. Then the main lead drops which is a beautifully clustered section of keys that's really captivating and gorgeous all at once. For his House mix Jarius has delivered a rolling and incredibly funky bass line which is melded with the airy melodies and glassy keys perfectly, The breakdown is a surreal journey through melodic sound, loaded with interesting accents and emotive transitions it's incredibly smooth and well crafted stuff. Amazing stuff from Jarius and a killer all round package from Fragments. Keep an eye on this label, amazing stuff in the pipeline, trust us! :)
