Real Time Pitch Shifting & Time Stretching on the Akai Mpc2500 & Mpc1000
Then taking that patched sound and spreading across my keyboard controllers keys to make a custom instrument patch.
The (autochromactic assigned patched phrase sample)Got to be the mpc2500s illest feature,so I had to put up a video. ( comes in about 4:21 in the video)
Try just taking one shot instrument hits and doing that to um,and you just made a keyboard patch.
I sampled this one key of a guitar patch off the phantom and (autochromactic assigned patched phrased) it ,then compared it to the original phantom patch and it was almost identical throughout most of the key ranges.

why when i hit the AUTOCHOP ... it keeps chopping the sample into 20 reigons or more ? how do i fx this problem fam ?

Ive got a problem with the pitch shift function. When I tune up the sample + 1.00 or -1.00 than the sample sounds damaged.
The file I loaded the sample from is not the problem. Can you help me out?

i got this sample and everytime i chop it up and do the 16 pad tune change it plays faster the higher the tune. so if i convert to patch phrase instead of sliced samples will it fix this???
