Louis Chauvin/Scott Joplin: Heliotrope Bouquet (1907)

This is popular music your grandgrandparents might have listened to, 100 years ago from now. Playing this kind of lighter music is really a nice break, and requires a lot of concentration. I am by no means a ragtime expert, but it is really great fun! I have mixed in some Art Nouveau nostalgia pictures, to get you in the right atmosphere.

Yes it is some sort of time-machine.. I have some beautiful portraits here of my maternal grandgrandmother, in edwardian haircut and style of ca 1908.. Good inspiration for this music :)
