@smoke360ful Well, when Charles was getting ready to marry Camilla, there was a lot of bargaining to allow it to happen. It turned out to be pretty pathetic, as the Anglican Church of is in matters of morality; but they did go through the motions. Alex (and most Americans - no offence intended) really don't understand a constitutional monarchy and its ties to the CofE. Personally, I'd like to see a separation of Church and State. Perhaps they'll get rid of the atheists (modernists) then.

ahah he hahah he calls bertie the acting king, then accuses him of starting communism to stop germany from having scientific and economic success. yes, britain sent away a quarter of its male population and went heavily heavily into debt to spite germany. and now the cordial entente is the grand scheme of edward vii, but he never explains just how any of this happened. apparently being king while a major event happens = youre responsible. if you believe this,i dont even know, barking at shadows
