Green Screen- Ipod style.

Music video that i was commissioned to make, the song had a 30 second rift at the end so the band wanted something a little different to finish off with. So we chose an 'ipod ad style' animation for the end.
1-film them all in front of green screen.
2-import into after effects and create a new composition.
3-Use pen tool to mask around the individual band members, then shadow them out, so they become sillouettes.
4-Chroma key the background, and change the colour to purple and add a spotlight in the background. (i did this by selecting a solid background and adding the light effect and selecting 2 colours, 1 for the forground and the 2nd for the background).
5-Add the six band members to the timeline on seperate layers, and key frame them to appear at different stages.
6-Keyframe the background layer (Purple), change the scale throughout the duration, so it give the impression that it's zooming into the image.
7-Render and export.
