I promise you that there are people on all sides of this Government that are what (I hope) we could all agree are not good for this country. They do not have your best intention at heart. They only have greed and power in mind. Sure, cynically you can say that that IS the "American" way, but I hope we could work past that.
And Real Journalists in a free society DO look in to what kind of shady motives our representatives have.

Mathis is such a pin head. My microwave oven has more viewers than his comic relief news show. He tried so hard to get Michelle to accuse someone of being anti American. I thought he was going to cry at the end when she would not fall into his second graders trap. Time has only proven her to be exactly right about the Marxist idiots we now have in DC. obama now has like a 13 percent approval rating. So don't waste time trying to talk to the few pin head supporters that will never get it.

The word "Investigate" was used in this context to describe what actual journalists should do IF we had real journalists. She wasn't talking about a McCarthy like investigation of trials and sentencing.
Of course she is not going to point out 'who is' because then everyone would complain about that. All she said is that journalists and Americans should really look into and discuss what kind of attitude is best for this country.
How does that connect with fascism?

@cnaorte You know very well how that connects with fascism, so please don't play games. Real journalists in a free society DO NOT investigate who is for or against a country unless they openly say or do what is objectively so. Selling secrets to our enemies is not the same as social programs you don't like. What is the difference between us & nations with state run media is that we endeavor that all reasonable sides be presented. Bachmann has clearly decided what is "un-American" for us all.
