RAF AFGHAN DIARIES: SPECIAL FEATURE: RAF Kit: Desert boots

SPECIAL FEATURE: A Gunners boots are made for walking, and lots of it! Goody chats about the features of his desert boots and the importance of good foot care in the hot climate.

The RAF has given Paul Goodfellow a handheld video and a small 'lipstick' camera to create his films; he has no previous experience as a cameraman. His videos are checked in Kandahar to ensure they don't include any sensitive data, then sent to London and posted online.

Yes when you're an INFANTRY soldier your feet are your vehicle, HOWEVER when you're a Remf RAF GUNNER you get a nice shiny Wimik to drive between the EFI and "the block". Who the fuck goes on tour and stays in "a block"??

I'll tell you why your boots looked brand new on R&R kid, because you didn't get any proper patrolling done. Stag on bitch.
