In my opinion surfing can't really be taught, people can give u pointers and those might speed up ur learning but ultimately u have to get the hang of it by yourself. So just get out there and surf it up!

@andreawhite223 Hang in there. Much like you and @cheetaman i started the same way. I grow up in the overcrowded line ups of N.J./ Long Island where no one gives you a break on a good winters session[fall n winter is best] . Hope ya haven't given up and take a lesson is my best advice. Remember, when you get good at it never forget to be kind to ''kooks'' . Lets make surfing fun again for everyone,,,cause we all do it for the pure joy of it .
