Personally, I think the body on the bed may have been the morbidly obese "tea lady" or another of Leatherface's victims, and he could have been wearing padding so that atleast from a distance he would have appeared physically similar to that person. Just my theory, could be wrong.

@hardcoreocealot thats not a good idea because leatherface is based on a serial killer named ed gein, and if you read the story of this guy he was caught by the police in 1973, this was like they're last victims, so he cant be free, he was caught at that same year, i think original ending its better, it fits better with the story

this ending was a deleted scene because they didnt say erin was pregnat in the movie, the deleted the scene where they say it so if you dont know that you could not figure out who is the woman being interview and, is it just me or in the movie they dont show when leatherface cut his arm? he cut it when he was chasing erin and he felt?

im glad that they didn.t used this one as an ending or the other one as beginning because i prefer the creepy black and white footage of police officer investigating in the house, when i first see the swat entering the house of leatherface is more sounds to me like the saw film.. leatherface is just an ordinary killer that time and can be killed with a gun not like jigsaw that has many trick..
