PSN vs Xbox Live download speed comparison

This video is comparing Xbox Live and PSN on download speed's.


I Use a 20mb internet connection so the downloads should be pretty fast and both are using the wireless access to make it fair.

Alot of people dont seem to understand what this video is actually about so let me explain... again... The video is about seeing if live is worth the price of £5 a month or £40 a year compared to PSN which is free and as you can see with a 3 minute gap in download times, this test shows it hasn't got much to offer server side. so what are people paying for? the features? PSN will have those soon enough and that leaves an answer which is. whats the point in paying?

@MANU15Michael Just to let you know. Xbox was hacked the second day it was released with multiple faults. Ps3 came out 100% perfect and took 5 years to get hacked, Also. We ended up with playstation slim with bigger harddrives than you have. and then xbox copied.

Everyone arguing on this video is an idiot. Why?

Because it depends on your connection to the server, how many people are downloading from the server, and what size your PS3 or Xbox is.

For example, if he has a 60GB PS3, and a 360GB Xbox, its obviously going to be the Xbox that is faster.

@MasterJazz09 Seems like you have been at school for 4 months of your whole life, i don't play ps3 anymore nor xbox, I have an xbox twice, And they both fucked up.. i had a ps3 for 3 years and it lasted me with NO problems at all. your sorry ass sitting on an xbox all day giving microsoft $50 for a little card to play online when im playing my glorious Dual Crossfire HIS Radeon 6850's and AMD Quad Phenom Black edition 960T while you play your 60fps console i play my solid 200fps bf3 and crysis:)

@anicentwarinator1990 dude RROD does not really exist any more its YLOD on ps3 you have to worry about every new ps3 they make its geting worse and worse at leat microsoft trys to fix theres and help there buyers while if you get YLOD you have to pay 100$+ dollers to fix it sony is just ignorance the YLOD problem like it does not exist.
