A unique hotel complex is being build using freight containers.
The metal boxes are placed on top of each other like lego bricks.
The construction method used is ecologic and inexpensive.
This bed-and-breakfast hotel opens its doors in June 2008.

The HyBrid website has some great shipping container homes. Found them @ the Fabprefab site which has a lot of interesting alternative houses featured from many different designers. It's pretty cool.

I have a home and I would live ina crate I have a mobile home the crate would not cost me 10k every time a hurricane rolls thrugh my area. There are plenty of folks who know we are not our house our car our clothes. Why do people want to hock their entire life to live a lie. Lets say you own a can the frame cost you 2k you could install all the fuxtures yourself and have it liveable and nice under 8k now you are free to save the money for your wants after you have your needs. Do it debt free!

If you are still paying on your home consider yourself homeless. Those that are now homeless most were making great money just one year ago. Many are well educated have never done drugs just believed the myth that if you do as told you will be taken care of. Remember our Government used live ammunition on WW1 veterans that were protesting post war about benefits.

I believe they have FEMA camps to liquidate mass populis and many Americans would do nothing about it saying it isn't me. Its bums.
