Trailer for a computer animated adaptation of Philippe Druillet's comic book "Nosferatu." Dark Horse published an English translation of the comic in 1991. The comic, featuring an alternately brooding and funny story about a vampire who might be the last intelligent creature in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that's otherwise overrun by primitive mutants, seemed to be more influenced by Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend" than by Bram Stoker or Murnau.
Philippe Druillet is best known for his "Lone Sloane" comics, as well as his contributions to Métal Hurlant magazine and Heavy Metal magazine.
Although the trailer features English text, I haven't been able to find any evidence that the completed show was ever released in English.
@volkeinblucht IMDB lists it as a TV show released in france on 31 october 2002. it was also shown at the fantasia film festival in montreal in 2004. so it was shown in a couple of places, at least. but i haven't seen any info about a DVD release. i agree with your description of it as a perfunctory adaptation. the action is basically as it was in the comic book but the comedic tone seems more slapstick than the comic. and the theme music doesn't complement the material, imo.

What about released, period? I am sure the imagery is enough to warrant a viewing, and what I can see here seems to follow the comic at least prefunctorily. Do you know of any video release of the whole film?
