Nice strategic considerations, and a good review. However, it's important to note that the wording on the base describes a "special power", not an "effect". It's also unlikely that an opponent would like the way you stick Obi-Wan's lightsaber into Megatron's barrel. By twisting it up and off its base, Megatron would be considered defeated before you even get to toss it into your opponent's figures - strike the pillar of Megatron's jet wash instead :)

oh right... special power i forgot yeah i guess you would have to ask your opponent to let you do so first. technically though if you knock down your own figure, you can stand it back up, so... but you're probably right
