JohnF30 - It's not crap... Your eyes are focused straight ahead, 95% or more of the time. You're just a tool who hasn't figured this out or played games long enough. Great work Shigetfrex... I just put up my Panasonic AX200U and use a 135" screen in the room but thinking of building a dome. I might do a rear project/reverse image through the screen material but have to see.
for the person who is sitting in the seat the game looks relatively normal, you can only notice the distortion and stretching because you are not at the ideal angle for viewing.
thats crap.. theres no point in curved screens if the movie or game itself is not made for them. you are simply distorting it. might as well only make it a straight superwide screen
I think all surfaces suffer from this 'flaw'. This just pushes the boundaries of perceived 3d. Perspective translation/projection can only go so far, at least you have a sense depth because of the blind spots. Much better than having to wear glasses.

Curved screens suffer from a significant flaw--stereoscopic 3D is not possible with them.
