These commercials aired on Fox on October 29th, 1993. Thanks to Nanto for sharing these from his massive collection of old VHS tapes

1. Star Trek: The Next Generation Action Accessories (I owned a beardless Riker from the first series of action figures produced by Galoob. I pretended he was Marty McFly)
2. Promo for "Family Matters"
3. Fox Halloweekend Commercial Bumper
4. Wilby Right Back Commercial Bumper (I totally forgot these existed...and I watched a TON of Fox as a kid)
5. Froot Loops
6. Tetris 2 ("There's bombs in it!"/90's voice. Before emulation took off I REALLY wished I had bought that top-loading NES)
7. Promo for "X-Men" (I was obsessed with Marvel comics and comic cards during this period and watched this show whenever I could)
8. Wilby Right Back Commercial Bumpers
9. Promo for "Tiny Toon Adventures"
10. Promo for "Tazmania" (Another show I watched a lot of but barely remember)
11. TV Spot for "Look Who's Talking Now" (I haven't seen this in well over a decade but I remember it being a decent Christmas movie and at the end they have to fight a pack of wolves or something)
12. Stretch Armstrong
13. FIM Halloween Sell-A-Thon (I LOVE Halloween costume commercials! Notice the lack of slutty adult costumes!)
14. The Wild Ones (The kitten MAKES this commercial)
15. Voice Command
16. Promo for "The Simpsons" Halloween Scare-A-Thon (I admit to seeing only a very small percentage of "The Simpsons" 20+ year output, but I have seen most of the "Treehouse of Terror" episodes)
18. Promo for "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." (This show is a cult classic and should have made Bruce Campbell a huge star)
19. Wilby Right Back Commercial Bumpers
20. Hot Wheels Attack Pack Slime-Inator
21. Big Frank (Oh god, I forgot about this too. "I'M ALIVE!")
22. Promo for "Batman: The Animated Series"
23. "Droopy, Master Detective"
24. "Count DeClues' Mystery Castle" End Credits
25. Promo for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" (I felt too old for this show when it started, but I did catch a few episodes at the very beginning)
26. Rocket Knight Adventures
27. Bunuelitos (A Mexican adventure of fun in every bite!)
28. Lego Rescue Collection
29. "Demolition Man" Action Figures (LOL)
30. Promo for "The Cosby Show"
31. Fox Halloweekend Commercial Bumper

  • FOX Kids! Has it been that long since we stopped having (good) cartoons after school?!

I got a top loader NES and its MUCH better than the old one.

I'm guessing Count DeClues Mystery Castle was a special?

Bunuelitos -- never even heard of them. Guess they didn't last long.

How cool were some of these licensed action figures? They really were the best in the 90s!

  • I miss u 90s 90s kids were tha best decade and always will be

  • lol mexican cereal

  • i remember all the cool tv series that were playing in '93: tiny toons, batman animated series, xmen, animaniacs and power rangers( i only saw the first 2 seasons, super sentai series are more entertaining if all of you want to check :)

    what a cool era to be a kid/teenager :)

  • Haha I rember when tetris was the black ops of video games, NES was the PS3, supper was 530 sharp, and you ate what you were served. The good ol days man. Im tellin you.

  • I think this, more than any other volume here, sums up my childhood. Throw in an X-Files bumper and it would be perfect.

Also, is that Omri Katz at the beginning of the Tetris commercial?

  • "He's so morphin!"

today kids would be bored w/ Stretch Armstrong in 30 seconds

I sure moms loved cleaning up the the slime f/ the "Slimenator" toys

I LOVED Droopy, I forgot that it was resurrected for a while

  • @Aphytus So true. My Stretch Armstrong tore open on the same day I received it (Christmas 1993). They're loaded with corn syrup.
