40th International Balloon Fiesta, Competition Day #2, October 4, 2011.
Jeff's dad and sister came out to visit us in Albuquerque during the 40th International Balloon Fiesta and we thought they might enjoy viewing the pictures from this year's event and competitions. The competitions include a "ring toss" from above where the balloonists try to make "ringers" on poles. The other competition is an "Albuquerque-style" Texas Hold-em where the balloonists drop their markers on a field of playing cards, and the best hand wins.
The slideshow is set to the music of Sacred Spirit, Vol. 2 "More Chants and Dances of Native Sacred Spirit"
