  • @BlueMakavelian its oFcourse. My suggestion is get something like XNA (google it) Its free, has great starter tutorials. On forums you can always find a team or a partner for your project. Make a simple game, then make something more complex. This is how I got started. No doubt no game studio will hire you know only based on education alone. They will ask what projects you worked on, what tech features you implemented (if a programmer).

  • @Kansyn see the problem I am having with these videos, is that everybody tells you how awesome it is to work in game industry. Almost NOBODY tells you how HARD it is to get into.

    read somewhere that these day you don't really program a game itself but using game engine which does most of the work, but is learning C++/C mendatory?

  • @drawmaster77 what do you do with this?

  • @halorules501 a programming language

  • @drawmaster77 what is c++?

  • @halorules501 sure if you have anything specific in mind ask away, otherwise just read through the comments.

  • @drawmaster77 could you give me some tips to a complete noob I need help to just know what everything means I would really apreciate it.

  • @CrazzyCowcat umm are you reading that off a university website, lol? Yea sure you can find 'a' job. I am talking about game developer job that you can survive on doing full time.

  • @drawmaster77 Nobody wants to hire a 'fresh graduate'? 70% percent of the guys learning Informatics at the TU Delft are having a great job in the software business on their third year. Also 98% will have a permanent job and 1 percent a temporary job once they're done with the study with pretty good salaries. -_-
