As people have been asking about it here is the review I did on the Real Techniques brushes a while ago. I reviewed the brush set a few months ago on my blog and I used it in this video because it was all I had to hand at the time.

As I've mentioned in my review on my blog I was quite disappointed and felt that the brushes were lacking but that did not change the fact that the Pixiwoo sisters are very good makeup artists.

"A brush you're not worried about destroying" a Real Techniques brush?! I'm just curious if you picked it because you know it'll survive cleaning out all the glitter or if you just didn't like that particular brush. Or that you know you'll get it all out fine anyway?

Both really. I was quite disappointed with the eyes kit when I bought it so now I use it for the more special effect stuff which it is quite good for :)

Ahhh really? That was my favorite brush from that kit, haha. I use it for either concealing dark circles (I get mine all the way around to right next to my nose, it's a tricky place to fit a brush into) or for contouring my nose. I love it! It's also great for special effects, I agree ;)

You can always buy regular false nails and use nail scissors to cut them, then file them down so they don't look so sharp and jagged.
