Speaker: Ian Hickson
As the HTML5 effort reaches its first big milestone -- feature completeness -- browsers are starting to implement it. It will be years before you can rely on HTML5 support when writing Web pages and applications, but you can start to experiment today to get a feel of what the new standard offers. This talk will explore some of the most recent implementations of HTML5 features.

I've been impressed with my experience of YouTube's HTLM 5 beta so far..
I've had non of the annoying stuttering problems that crop up with using Flash, & videos seem to load at a much steadier rate.
There is still a way to go before it rivals Flash for video image quality but i'd rather have a video that plays when i want it to as opposed to a video that plays when it wants to.

YouTube HTML5 still in Beta from 2008 (we are in 2013), so i fund something better a 1080p HTML5 video streaming test which prove HTML5 work well but not from Youtube , So go playing HTML5 smoothly in 1080p-quality on any tablets devices with HD screen and without buffer error: htt p://videojs.co m/

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, Firefox 6.0.2 Stable and have joined the Youtube HTML5 test, this video does not play.
I have these add-ons installed, Adblockplus, Request Policy and Quick Java with Flash disabled if it makes a difference. :shrugs:
