May I make a suggestion for another video? I have trouble finding nice trilobites and crinoids, and was wandering if you'd make a video on signs one should look for when hunting. One of my friends can spot a crinoid merely by seeing lumps in the rock and without actually seeing the fossil. Also could you touch up on layers, it's good to understand what it is your looking at, so how about some demonstrations on how layers work into hunting for fossils?

My intro to crinoid videos explains how to hunt those out by finding clusters of stems.

You found my other trilobite videos which does explain that.In the future I will put up a video on fossil formations If I get permission to film that lecture.

I don't have experience with that .If you find something spectacular you can pay others to professionally clean it (ship by mail).

That's neat I have found fragments of heads in the black shale I was preserving. Are there any better ways to preserve fossils?

What do you mean preserve ? Sounds like you mean clean and prepare .Nature preserved them as fossils by mineral replacement .
