that is not sweat on the violin, but the tears of a man who has cracked the theory of music to the finest.

Cette gavotte en rondeau est un excellent exercice (difficile) pour apprendre à maîtriser les doubles (et triples) cordes. Essayons d'imiter Gil Shaham : un vrai cours de violon.

Great violinist, but to me his violin sounded a bit immature.

This piece was his example of 'happy'.

In the Disney film James and the Giant peach, the character simply named "Cricket" who is a cricket (Lol) plays this piece when describing the differences between happy and sad to James, the red-headed protagonist. I suggest watching it, as it's enjoyable and inspirational for all age groups :)

To me if it s not sad then it s not music. Listen Stjepan Hauser playing Song to the Moon of Antonin Dvorak honestly it s something really different, emotions sadness life nostalgy beauty everything that music can provide even if i love Gil Shaham too i thing that he ll be better on something more tragic like la fille aux cheveux de lin de Debussy or l'intermezzo of Cavalleria Rusticana, les nocturnes pour violon de Chopin or som lik this

But Segovia plays it absolutely anti-barocque... as does this violinist too in fact xD It's supposed to be a dance, not a lyrical song netter an intensity virtuoso thing :S
